Big O Tires

Hi Steve, you are the best part of this store. I was in purchasing tires for my daughter's VERY OLD jeep and I couldn't spend a lot of money. I was talked into paying for an alignment and then was told it would cost $900+ (I'm sure more than that car is worth). I explained several times to your rep that this jeep had 220,000+ miles and it was leaking oil. We aren't sure how long it will last. I get it that you are trying to upsell other services and I really did want the alignment, but if your rep is going to make us feel like the car isn't safe to drive even with the new tires, that's not a positive experience for us. Had you not stepped in at the end when I was checking out I would have felt very nervous about us even investing in tires and not just scrapping the car. We don't have extra money right now so keeping her safe on what we can afford to drive is important to us. Please don't let your people confuse a Zionsville address with more money. I'd rate the quality of service higher if I felt like she was completely safe on those tires. You told me she's okay, but having everyone behind the counter look at us like the axel is going to snap is frightening. If it's really that bad, tell us to save our money and put it toward a new car. We weren't given that option until it was too late.

Everyone was very friendly and the service was efficient.

Car repairs can be an exhausting experience . Orlando and Summer are great! Finished the repair ahead of time. They took the sting out of the need for the repair. Great people and great job!

I was there to get four new tires on a truck that only had 68,000 miles on it they told me my truck needed a line so they went to back it out to move it over to align it somehow my transmission got tore up they didn't even offer me a ride anywhere they told me they could just push my truck out didn't offer alignment after I get my transmission fixed it wound up cost me $1,500 to get my transmission fixed

My only "complaint" is that the e-mail I received (that showed the estimated cost) indicated a much larger rebate-related deduction than that actually received. The estimated total came to $692.92 and the "Total after rebate" was $542.92. I'd be happy to forward the e-mail. The reason this makes a difference is because I chose Big O Tires over Costco because the price difference (at $542.92) was negligible. The actual price should have been even less because my car doesn't have TPMS which was in the quote. Bottom line - the e-mail confirmation (price estimate) was at least confusing if not misleading. Again, I'd be happy to forward the e-mail, if requested. The clerk tried to explain the difference but it was difficult to follow along since the invoice hadn't been printed yet...it seems the detail (in print) was only available if I agreed to first pay?? I'm not sure if that is the reality but that's the way it seemed. Again, I'd be happy to forward the e-mail, if requested.

The team at the Whitestown location are great to work with, easy going, and I love how straightforward they are with both the work and the customer service.

I have been going to Big O for years but when we moved to Indiana we could not a Big O that had the same customer service I had come to know. I was excited when the Whitestown store opened. Met and exceeded my expectations!!

Your quotes are misleading. On your website it gives you a total that says nothing of any other fees then the bill was $60 more than the quote. Under products and services you should list that it does not include install or tire disposal fees. When you say products and services to me that implies all services not just some.

Great service

Tire mounting was fast and the employee, Christian, was really friendly. I am frustrated though because I was not offered a warranty on my tires. He said that it was an uncommon tire and he wasn't sure he could get them in the future. The frustrating part is that this was one of two snow tires their website recommended for me. No one told me this would be an issue before ordering and installing them...

I had a new rear tire from a Grinnall Scorpion 3 wheeled custom trike from Great Britain that needed rebalanced. I went to 3 tire stores and one motorcycle store. None of the auto stores (I tried first) could balance my tire (a custom machined car tire that bolts on a BMW Motorcycle K1100LT rear drive). Chris Adkins of Tom Wood Powersport, Service and Parts Dept Manager tried to balance it but their motorcycle balance equipment didn't have the correct sized fixture to do it. He was very helpful and recommended that I try Big O tire store in Whitestone. "They are good people, if anybody can do it, try them. Ask for Summer or Vic and tell them I sent you". Well after 4 stores, I was open to trying another one. Chris even got me directions since my Android phone wasn't working. I drove another 20 miles to Whitestown Big O store and they exceeded my expectations! The customer counter staff Summer & Don quickly got my tire to their tire technician Brayton. He only needed 15 minutes to R&R old tire weights and rebalance using new weights! Such a friendly, customer service and competent staff! And Summer refused to charge me anything. "Come back again!" Thank you Big O!
