The mechanic who looked at my car didn't find a problem at first inspection but he listened to what I told him had happened and continued to look. His persistence paid off because he did find something that had broken but was not visible unless he took something on the wheel apart. Had he not found the problem I would not have felt comfortable driving my car on the highway
