I live across town, almost 20 miles away. This particular Midas Franchise is an asset to the community. They do dealership-quality work and even give repeat customers "manager" discount deals. I had a systemic EVAP issue that caused the Check Engine Light to come on. I brought my car to this place. I was greeted by Denise who is always very polite, professional, and friendly. I asked if a mechanic could also check out a strange knocking noise I've been hearing for the past week after 10 minutes of driving. I had extensive break-work done at another shop, and I believe the noise was related. Walter did the work on my car. After a little over an hour, the work was completed. No Check Engine Light and my 2006 car runs like brand new again. No strange knocking noises from the wheels either. KUDOS to the good folks at Midas (7137 S. Western Ave, Chicago, IL).
