Big O Tires

I came in for an oil change and to get my rear brakes replaced as I was told by the dealership they needed to be replaced. The guys here said my brakes were fine but my oil leak had gotten much worse and I needed a new part for it. This was done in a timely manner. However, just before I was about to get my car back the mechanic said he needed to show me something. He told me he had missed something that needed to be fixed right away and he would only charge me for the part because it was his fault he missed it. So I brought my car back the next morning at 7am and he was there to greet me and even drove me to work (Which is within walking distance). The issue got fixed right away too and I was able to get my car at lunch time! He even offered to pick me up again! The honesty and customer service was wonderful and I will be going back.

I am always pleased with the service that I get at this store. Joel and his associates always greet me with a warm welcome and a smile. They make me feel like they genuinely care about me and my car and/or what may need to be repaired. I feel that Joel and his team make sure that they give me the highest quality service possible and they go the extra mile to make sure I am extremely satisfied. I appreciate how they take the time to ensure that I understand why repairs need to be made.

Not sure if my tires actually got rotated. The tire that usually has a lower psi, still is in the same spot.

I got helped by Jerren. He was very friendly and brought me in back to show me what was happening with my car. He had great knowledge about what was wrong. Overall a great experience!

I had an appt on Black Friday. The tires I was buying were a black Friday sale (buy 3 get 1 Cooper gls) but they hadn't come in. I told the guy to call me if they come in by Monday. He called me Saturday to let me know they were there so I went in on Sunday. I guess the sale had expired because I ended up paying full price. I'm gonna call today to see if it can be fixed. But still. If this is big o tires way of getting you in the store then I'll definitely take my business elsewhere in the future.

Vera, the young inexperienced girl, who we dealt with us made several errors when we ordered new tires to be put on our vehicle! She did not enter/update our newer 2018 Explorer vehicle info into the computer system, rather she used our older replaced 2012 Explorer vehicle's license place and VIN that was already in their computer system! When we called back to inform her of the errors on our paperwork noticed after picking up our vehicle at closing time the night before, she said it shouldn't matter as long as we had our receipt if we had any problems/issues with the purchase of these tires at the Elk River location. The next day, we took our paperwork back into the Big O Tires in Elk River and talked with Joel, the store manager. He redid all the paperwork and corrected the errors made by Vera! We also placed the purchase on the Big O Tires credit card so we were able to apply for the rebates, which was not understood by Vera in explaining to us, the customer, of needing to get the rebates via the credit card!!

Extremely friendly and seemed genuinely interested in earning my trust in being a repeat customer.

I had called and made an appointment- I arrived 9 minutes early. At 26 minutes AFTER my scheduled tire fix, they still hadn't gotten to my keys. That is very frustrating.

My only issue was that I asked if they had checked the tire pressure during the oil change. Reply was yes. When I got home, I checked it and had 2 tires that were 6 psi low. Otherwise the sales rep was very friendly and helpful.

I had some tires mounted and balanced, they must have a bucket with everyone's valve-stem caps, I didn't get my caps back.

I believe the actual service was good, however the tires I ordered were not at the store for my appointment. I had the choice for an alternative tire, or come back on another day.

I would highly recommend this Elk River store. The customer service rep was friendly and honest. I came in without an appointment because of a tire that was flat. He didn't think they would get to it until 4 pm. But I was able to pick up my car at 2 pm with 4 new tires. Very happy with them!

The buy 2 get 2 tires free was a joke, I would be better off buying all 4. And would a free tire rotation be that outlandish of an idea?
