Big O Tires

Three days to do an alignment, tire swap and oil change. Found I needed sleeves and an arm pitman. Forgot to even do my alignment check the first day. Had to be reminded. Worst service I've had there yet.

I would like to personally thank Joel and Zach at the Elk River, MN, Big O Tires. After the engine died in my Honda Element, my wife and I decided we wanted to replace the engine (we love that thing) and Joel made the process easy and kept me updated on how things were going. Zach was very clear about what they were doing and how to maintain a new engine, etc...I couldn't have had a better customer service experience through the whole process. Thank you!

The gal behind the counter (Gabriella, I believe) does not seem very knowledgeable when it comes to tires. Also, I ordered tires with her via a telephone conversation......I called back 5 days later to ask if the tires were in, I spoke to Pat, apparently she did not place the order so he took care of it. Pat did a great job. Gabriella also called me to ask me to come in for an appointment that I previously cancelled with her. She did not offer me a free alignment check either. Unfortunately my overall tire buying experience was not a pleasant one.

Really appreciated them thoroughly making sure my tires were not leaking.

They did a oil change in Dec noticed oil on garage floor brought it in said the filter was not tight. The time before same thing happened said they needed a special wrench to tighten. You lost my business

They worked me into the schedule and got me back on the road quickly. On a Sunday.

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation and the tech said I didn't need a rotation which obviously they didn't look at my tires as the fronts where in far worse shape than my back ones.

Love the new tires, Joel was very helpful and kind!

Time went over quoted- I was on my lunch break (quote higher and if it takes a shorter amount that'd be preferred). Quoted cheaper walk out price than what it actually costed me.

They had the tires I needed and were able to meet my time requirements.

I had to give 1 star because this wouldn't let me leave a 0. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE!!! THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THINK NOTHING ABOUT RIPPING YOU OFF!!! A month ago they put front tires on my pick up. A couple weeks later the tires were low on air. As I looked closer at the rims the old valve stems were still in the wheels. On the receipt they charged me for TPMS valve stems. The truck doesn't have a TPM system on it. They over charged me for higher priced valve stems it doesn't need, and then didn't even put new ones in! Also the tire weights they put on did not fit the rim, one weight already fell off and another one was about to. I wen't back today to get the correct valve stems put in and a rebalance with the correct weights. Joel insisted they put the right valves on with the new tires. I asked to have the tires rebalanced because the weights were falling off. Joel said because it was over 30 days he would charge me again to rebalance them. I PAID FOR LIFETIME BALANCING!!! I don't even have 300 miles on these pair of tires. I'm an essential employee during the COVID pandemic so I haven't been able to get my truck back in sooner. He didn't even go out to look at the wheels to see what I was talking about. Then I demanded a refund for the valve stems they didn't put in and Joel flat out said "NO". I'm reporting this to the Better Business Bureau! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!

Needed a tire change because it was about to pop. Found these guys on google and they had a new tire put on in about a half an hour. Excellent service and I am so thankful I found these guys.

Failed to notify me that my rims were bent until I called back AFTER my visit and stated my tire was shaking (I thought it was a balance issue). If I had known that my rims were bent I wouldn't have wasted $150 on an alignment I didn't need. Not pleased at all.

Thanks Joel for working my car in quickly . My mechanic Zach kept me informed , was very honest & did a great job! The check engine lite is no longer a problem. Very friendly workers!!

We brought our car there to have a sway bar fixed I was given a quote for over a 1000 dollars which another shop said that should be maybe 250 needless to say I would never reccomend you guys for anything and when I picked up the car it would not start because they left a toggle switch on

I paid over 400 dollars and my truck took 3 days to do. I went in for a tire swap and alignment. Then I had to have a pit arm and sleeves installed. When I went to pick my truck up the first day. They accomplished a tire swap in 10 hrs. They forgot about the alignment and oil change. Then it took all day Sunday and into Monday to do a job I was assured would be done before Sunday afternoon. Now my truck still drives the same. The steering wheel still isn't centered. I will never go there again and I will caution any and all I know in various car clubs to not go either
