I came in for a flat repair, and also asked for a quote on a full set of tires to be purchased in September. During the flat repair I was told the tires were showing signs of dry rot and would need to be replaced soon. I reminded the salesperson I had asked for a quote on tires. Repair was completed but I still do not have a quote on tires. Guess they would rather not sell tires. I will try Firestone.

My last two visits were for a coolant system rebuild (effectively) and front-end alignment. The crew excelled on both visits; the rebuilt cooling system performs better than when I bought the car, and the front end alignment was just what was needed to track my car straight and get better gas mileage.

I was a little disappointed after calling ahead and was told that I could get an oil change done immediately then I waited 20 minutes before placing my order and handing over my keys. Then my car sat for another 20 minutes before it was taken into the bay. When I got my cat back there were greasy/oily hand prints on the arm rest. One more thing, BOTH of the trip odometers were reset to 0. That has never happened before and can not be done accidentally because the button has to be depressed and held for several seconds to clear the reading.

Tami was most helpful. I like the new black chairs in the showroom.

I scheduled a 9 am brake change and I eventually had to call back after 4 pm to see if it was finished. I was surprised that it took all day to get my jeep back and that no one called me to let me know when it was finished; I ended up having to call. Also I was told it would have been around $150 when I made the appointment, which I guess was only to look at it, the total bill came to around $650 which was a little shocking. All and all I'll probably save myself some time and money in the future and look elsewhere.

Have always been fast and the work is done properly. Well explained when asked about. Good deals. Free road side service with purchase of tires. Don't gotta pay for AAA anymore as there service is basically the same. Used to buy tires at Wal-Mart's because they are everywhere but their road hazzard warranty sucks wind and there people are rude when trying to get warranty. Big O is everywhere and so far very nice. Will give them most of my business.

The last two times I have gone to Big O Tire of Hollister they have not properly fastened my metal guard back on where they do the oil change.I am fine for about 10 minutes and then I start down the Hwy and I hear a scratching/grinding noise because I am dragging the metal guard all the way home which is a 40 minute drive.NOT Happy this has happened to me again. The first time they didn't even apologize. This time they thanked me for not yelling at them.I was hoping for a complimentary oil change or something to make the situation better.

the assistant manager and fellow who took care of us were friendly and courteous and made sure the work was done for us in short time so we weren't stuck sitting there any longer than necessary. I bought my mud/snow tires from them last year, so they took them off and put on my new tires, and told me they would put the mud/snow tires back on for us when we requested at no charge.

I've always been a happy with this location until recently. It appears you have new help and all they are concerned about is upselling products that aren't needed. My wife had brought her car in for oil change and we always use the synthetic blend oil and the new guy there was trying to tell her she needed the full synthetic as this is what her engine requires. Well I know our vehicles and Toyota does not require full synthetic in this Vehicle. In fact they only require conventional oil. Next, they tried to tell us her transmission fluid was needing replacement... her car only has 50k miles on it... it's not required until 80k. I arrived to help my wife out so she wasn't getting jerked around to clear things out. I asked about the brakes and was told they were fine plenty of pad left. So we stick with our Normal oil we get and left. Fortunately I had an appointment at Toyota the following weekend for a recall and had them go over the items i just described. Convenetial oil is perfectly fine as well as synthetic blend, her transmission fluid was great and her brake pads did need changed which I changed myself and they were indeed almost bare. So all said I'm really disappointed in the recent services and think now your just trying to push product over what's really necessary and not doing a thorough review before trying to tell us what was needed and not. I hope this was just a fluke and doesn't continue this way.

I had an appointment for new tires and I asked if they could do an oil change too. No problem. An hour and a half later they came out to tell me that my lug key was missing. Shouldn't they have been further along? The oil change was started and they finished that but forgot to reset my percentage meter. Then the price was $15 more than I was expecting. I was given a 10% discount. A little too late. So sorry to have to leave the Hollister store.

My husband was told that he would get a $20 discount, if he asked for it. I told the gentlemen at the counter and they said they could not do that without a coupon, it was a new policy the office was cracking down on the discounts. They did give me $10 off but that was not what I was expecting. I also think my car might need an alignment. Not my best experience

Requested services not performed. Came in for oil change, rotation and alignment. When Rep told me my car was done they had only performed the oil change. He said my alignment was tested and it was off, would I like an alignment? Yes! As requested when I walked in! Finally I had marked the sidewall of my tires and the rotation was also not performed until I pointed that out too.

Russell Soto always provides me with great service and professional repairs. Just bought all new tires, front end alignment, and a power steering flush.

Chris

Really disappointed. Despite having an appointment and showing up ahead of time, it took almost three and a half hours to get two tires mounted. No other services involved. Just two tires put on. And I was charged a price higher than I was quoted when I made the appointment. The assistant manager, a woman, was nice. The man who appeared to be in charge of the shop that day was surly the entire time. Never smiled, never expressed thanks for my business, never apologized for the delay. I drove away and had to come back because the installers failed to properly reset the tire pressure indicators, which took an additional 15 minutes. Very doubtful I'll be back.

It is always a pleasure coming to your store. I always spend more than I plan but your staffs honesty advises me of issues which need to be addressed. I really appreciate an honest mechanic.

I thought when you got new tires you got an alignment with it also, but I was told that it would cost me an extra 75$,I'm not happy with that
