Big O Tires

Recently had a wheel alignment done here on my 1964 Chev. El Camino. I went in to ask some questions regarding the job and price of the job which was $120 which I feel is excessive. The technician was courteous and answered my questions about the job he performed. When confronted about the price, management claimed it was that much because the car was a ''shim car ' and that the technician spent 1 1/2 hours doing the job. I know the front suspensions of these cars are quite simple and if a few shims had to be added it took a matter of minutes to put them in. I feel that I have been 'ripped off' by this shop. Also, Management became rude, and sarcastic.

These guys are very professional and good. I've had my Buick serviced at Big-O a couple times and I'm happy that I did.

I had a blowout on a run flat tire. Wes, ordered a rush on the replacements, got me in on the same day and back on the road. Great employees and great service keeps me a loyal, repeat customer!

I had my oil changed and tires rotated and my vehicle was checked thoroughly.

This morning, 7/26, while on my way to work, I was pulled over by the Nevada Highway Patrol. The officer informed me that the reason for the stop was that my right rear tire was low and he was afraid that it would cause a blow out or damage my vehicle. I thanked him for the information (who does that these days?!) and drive straight to the Big O tire store on Kietzke Lane in Reno, NV. There, I met Rick, who was quick with a smile and an understanding nod, and after just a quick minute getting me into the system, they pulled in my car for an inspection of the damaged tire. About 15 minutes later, Rick informed me that they were able to take out a metal shard from the offending tire, patch the hole, and re-inflate it, and they did it all FREE OF CHARGE! This morning could have been a terrible one, between getting pulled over and having to deal with a vehicle repair situation, but I left the tire shop with a smile on my face and a chance to tell others what fantastic service the Big O store gave me. Thank you VERY MUCH for taking a bad situation and making virtually hassle free! You guys are the BEST!
