I went to the Big One Tire on Maryland Parkway and Sierra Vista in Las Vegas Nevada due to my car over heating. All I needed was some Anti Freeze added in my radiator and they told me that I had blown head gaskets and needed a new engine. I had it towed to the Dodge Dealer and all they did was added anti freeze. They sent me on my way and my car has been working Perfectly ever since. Big O Tire was trying to beat me out of almost $2,000. When I left from the dealer, I drove back to Big O Tire and let and went off on them. All they offered was a couple of free oil changes. How do I even trust them to change my oil. Never, never, never will I trust them again.

They went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Icalled and asked for an appointment last minute an they accommadated me no problem.

bough a new tire...your cashier calim he was having problems with his printer..didint provide me with a invoice for my purchase...promise to email it to me and never did..call him twice and he alway had an excuse and promised to send it then...until now i dont have my invoice..paid with my own cash for the tire in a company vehicle and becouse i dont have an invoice or recipt..i just can get my money back.....maryland parkway store in las vegas

Only wanted 5 quarts of oil put in but computer says 6 so they have to put 6. Customer WANTED only 5 should do what Customers ask for.. poor customer service. And why is disposal fee not included in the price of an oil change? Is there an oil change that doesn't have to do a disposal of the old oil? This special price is a rip off..

This review pertains to the Maryland Parkway / Desert Inn location in Las Vegas. On June 1, I had a very pleasant experience with Mike as my service advisor. I purchased a set of 4 new tires, had some brake work done, and had an oil change. My service experience was excellent. Mike was pleasant, informative, and professional. He gave me a good feeling about my experience. On Aug 1 at approximately 10:30 am, I returned to the same location for an oil change. Mike was with another customer when I entered the store, so I approached another service advisor, Dave, and told him that I wanted an oil change, since it had been 4,000 miles since the previous oil change. He gave me an estimate of $45 and told me the car would be ready in about an hour. At approximately 11, Dave called and recommended that I replace the belt and the hoses, and have some minor maintenance work done on the brakes. I agreed to this recommendation, and I was told that the car would be ready in approximately 1 1/2 hours, or 12:30. The agreed upon price was $300, which would cover the oil change, the replacement of the belt and the hoses, and the brake service. I returned to the store at approximately 12:30. Dave informed me that the oil pan drain plug was stripped and they were trying to obtain a new plug from one of their vendors. He was NOT forthcoming with information. I had to press him about how the plug might have been stripped. He was VERY evasive in his answers. I had my previous oil change at the same location. So, it is obvious that one of the Big O mechanics caused the threads on the oil pan / drain plug to be stripped, either when they replaced the plug during the previous oil change, or when they removed it during the current oil change. Once the new plug arrived, it was found that it could not be installed properly, since the threads on the oil plan were stripped. Dave informed me that it was necessary to replace the oil pan. Dave agreed to waive the labor charge for installing the oil pan, but he said that was the best that he could do. I argued that Big O was at fault, so they should absorb the full cost of parts/ labor for the oil plan. Dave said that he could not agree to these terms. Since I was being held hostage and was already late for work, I agreed to his terms for the time being. The repairs were finally completed at 5:30, seven hours after I first set foot in the store. When it came time to pay, I restated my point that Big O was at fault and I should not have to pay for the labor / installation of the oil pan. Dave told me that he could not do anything further for me. I asked to speak to the manager, Matt. Matt agreed to waive the cost of the labor for installing the oil pan, and all of the charges for the oil change, but that was all he could do. At that point, I gave up, since I had been in the store for 7 hours and was late for work. I paid $526.94. I told Matt that I would be lodging a complaint with their corporate office. I feel that I should not have paid one penny more than $300. I am in the process of composing a formal complaint to send to their corporate office. It is amazing that I could have such a great experience followed by such a terrible experience at the same store.

I did not get what I piad for. They did change my oil, but they did not check my fluids (transmission, winshied wriper and/or, brake fluids), which I needed. They told me I needed to change air filter which I just change a couple of months ago. They said I need two back tires, because they was dry rotten, but my car/tires have not sat long enough to dry rot. To prove it, I drove from Las Vegas to Sacramento in 9hrs and my tire are still good. This is the second time I dealt with Big O Tires and was disappointed. Last time I went to jail, because they put the wrong part on my car. Bad Business.

The manager was superior in my book. Excellent customer service. The employee who put on my tires was knowledgeable in answering all of my questions and.a very dedicated employee. I received a fair deal for my tires and the manager went over and beyond his duties by tossing in balancing beads! What a great guy!

Tires were improperly installed and could have caused a serious accident. I had to return the car to another Big O to have the problem corrected. One of the tires was damaged due to installation and needs to be replaced less than 24 hours after purchase.

Went in for road hazard warranty as the tire separated cords after 4,000 miles of use. They had my truck in there shop for 5.5hrs and they never called me. I drove to their shop and they said my shocks were bad and they would not cover the road hazard warranty. The tire tread depth was 15/32 and was even wear. My shocks would not cause cord separation. I left there completely unsatisfied and still in need of a replacement tire from the defective one.

I have been a long time customer of Big O Tires at Maryland Parkway and Desert Inn here in Las Vegas for many years. Always have had excellent service and products. Would definitely recommend this business to anyone needing auto service.
