Austin was so helpful in the repair of my car. Very professional. My car had to be towed to Midas because it wouldn?t start. I would definitely recommend repairs here!

Midas did good

Came in with a battery and cable issues. Previous battery had failed and leaked, causing excessive corrosion on positive node. Had it replaced on the road, however the techs didn't check the negative cable to make sure it also had a solid connection. The staff at Midas analyzed the issue and found that the highly corroded positive cable wasn't an easy fix, entire harness would need to be replaced $2100 minimally just for part. So it was decided that we'd keep it clean with terminal cleaner and check for battery leakage instead. Next was the negative cable, unable to tighten down with ratchet so the tech, was able to use pliers to close the cable connection and place it over the node so it was a more solid contact. Jeep is 11 years old and notorious for battery issues so this gave us an inexpensive fix and a path forward.
