Big O Tires

I have been going to the same Big O for a few years now, because I bought my tires there and thought I should commit to one store so I could be sure to get my tires rotated consistently. I expect that anywhere I take my car to be fixed, for it to be fixed, so that to me is a non issue. I believe the experience is more important because as a mother I have to sit in the waiting room with my child or children and try to keep them occupied, quietly, while all they want to do is scoot on the disgusting floor and play with their water machine and dirty toys. Then after waiting for a simple oil change and tire rotation for over an hour they always come to me and try to up-sale me. I understand that's their job, and that my car could use those things, but it's the way they do it. I always feel like they think I'm a dumb woman who doesn't know about car stuff and that they can get me to pay whatever they want. In actuality I do many repairs on my home and car myself. Big O advertises that they price-match so I bring in whatever coupon I can to help my budget, but they seem to hate it and treat me like I should have been given inferior service for my discounted rate. The man said a different store, behind their location performs the oil changes and they vacuum and clean the window etc, so I should tell him before I have the service done that I have a coupon so they can tell them not to do a good job or something. And after he made me feel dumb about that I went out and my car was not vacuumed! I didn't care that it wasn't, just that he said that was a thing they do... Not impressed! It's the Spanish Fork Big O! I just want a genuine smile and a genuine we'll take care of you and tell you when there's something you could think about fixing, with no pressure to fix it that second. He told me my tie rod end was bad and that because of it my tires were bald! Then he went out to show me and even he was surprised by the tires not being bald. They had a couple small spots where you could tell they were starting to wear unevenly but not bald! He didn't even know the situation before he came in to tell me to buy new tires. Then didn't even back down once we were looking at it together!

I was happy they didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need.

Absolute terrible mechanics, twice they lied to my wife about what they claim to be broken car parts. I got second and third opinions from around town and every time it came back that Big O mechanics lied about things that were not broken. I would not trust these guys to mow my lawn let alone work on my car

They were very friendly. They communicated the amount of time it would take to get my tire repaired and get my tires rotated. They also made sure that all of my tires were safe for the icy roads. I have used their services for over 30 years and have always appreciated their great service.

These guys are out to get your money. They dont care about their customers. I was told my vehicle needed a new final drive and it would cost me nearly $4k. Josh asked if i wanted to go through financing options, i asked if it would be a hard inquiry and he said it would not affect my credit. I checked my credit score later on and it had been a hard inquiry and did affect it. I looked more into the problem and it was not called a final drive, it was a power transfer unit and would cost me maybe $800. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I didn't get a single straight answer about any of my questions and they lied about multiple things in my short visit. I feel bad even having to give them one star on this review.

It took twice as long as originally expected, but I understand why delays occur. One issue was because my car was missing the key for the VW lug bolt lock, which they ordered from VW.

They tried to say that something was wrong with our car when there was not. Like our rack and pinion and steering rods confirmed by another mechanic to be fine.

The staff was extremely accommodating to my schedule. They worked really hard to get the work on my truck done quickly.

We will never be back. Apparently your best mechanic was the one who looked at our car today. Well with him being your best mechanic you would think he make sure the lug nuts on the tire was tight. Apparently that's not something your mechanics can handle, when they can't even handle that they sure as hell won't be touching anything else on my car.

I had a flat tire. The man who helped me sold me a used tire for 25 dollars. I hhave tires under warranty and could have bought a brand new one that actually fit my car for 35 but he didnt inform me of this. The used tire is too big for my car. I did not receive a receipt so i think he may have pocketed the money. This man also told me my brakes and rotors were so bad that i shoulnt drive the car at all. He gave me 200 dollars as the price. My car drove to orem then heber just fine. Then my boyfriend changed the brakes which cost 23 dollars. There was zero damage to the rotors. Previous to this last fall i had a large amount of cash on me. The man working told he didnt know was my cousin who works there to find alot of stuff wrong on my car cause i had cash. My cousin told him no. He told me to never pull out my money. I am thorughly disgusted in your tire store and its dishonest employees. Im disgusted in the tires u sold me last fall. Ive put far less miles on them and actually have a warranty for half price tires. As i stated before instead your employer sold me a too big used tire for 25 and didnt give me a receipt.

The service was great and it was fast. I appreciated that I not only got a call from Mark to confirm my appointment, but he let me know the tires I needed weren't at the store yet and called me when they were in. He also gave me a clear explanation of what they had done and what additional services are included.

You, Kevin, run a sloppy ship and that's why, I'm told, that your best people have transferred to other stores. Time to get out of the office and do a little work of your own and see what is up. Sorry, we'll not be shopping at your store again. The 'team you trust' is no longer trusted. Jim Brady

After finding out basically every tire I liked was out of stock, Keith put forth the effort to help me find what would work for my car. When I showed up, he mentioned another set of tires that were of higher quality and were on sale, and his expertise ended up saving me quite a bit of money. Great experience with Big O, my wife and I have now both bought our tires there this year, and will definitely be coming back when it's time!

Kieth and Josh are total tools. Always bragging about their cool trucks and hummer. Never help me when I show up last minute. Always tell me to come back when they aren't busy. I never feel like I get a fair price. They always take longer than anticipated. Plus, Keith and Josh are pretty ugly dudes. I miss Mac Wes

Kent- the manager always take great care of me and my family. He goes above and beyond, every time. All the guys at this location have been fantastic to deal with.

After reading others reviews and after purchasing tires here, I would say they're not bad when it comes to just tires. But when it comes to ball joints, steering, or an alignment, I would stay as far away from this big o as possible. My experience there was TERRIBLE. Nothing quite like paying $1800 for the wrong parts and an unfinished job. And then having to take the truck back and leave it for 3 additional days and be lied to about everything. A 4 hour ball joint job turned into 4 days. That's 4 days of me not having a truck and they wanted me to know how much of an inconvenience it was for them when I demanded they fix it. Poor service poor quality. And now I wonder if the ball joints were even bad to start with or was I lied to about that.

Service was amazing and easy, especially for a busy Saturday!

We took my husbands truck in to get the wheel bearing fixed and it turned out the left strut was shot so those had to be replaced. It ended up being about 1600.00 in work. When he picked it up and was driving home, the driver front tire fell off! Yes fell off! It took out a vinyl fence on a property and did a lot of damage to the truck. Basically, I'm not sure I would trust our vehicles there anymore.

Tires were rotated, balanced and filled to the correct pressure. Just as I suspected it would be. Professional service as always.
