I get all my auto service done by Midas in Bangor, ME. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

I was told by another garage that I had blown head gaskets and they wanted to charge me $4200 to fix the heads. I brought it into Jason and he said he would do some diagnostics. He did a block test and determined that the heads were OK and the problem was a stuck thermostat. It’s nice to know that this Midas shop got to the root of the problem and was honest about what it really needed and fixed it for just $300. Jason demonstrated his integrity and the integrity of this Midas location to sell me just what I needed and not take advantage of me by confirming the other shops incorrect diagnosis. He is number one on my list of mechanics, as well as restoring my faith in humanity!

The crew members were very nice. They listened to my concerns and took me seriously, and was able to fix the problem I was having with a shaky steering wheel when braking. The appointment was for the oil change and I had asked them to also check out my rotors, and they did so gladly, even if it might have put them a little behind. (In retrospect, I will make sure to include all concerns in future appointments)
