Super unfriendly and rude.

I found it frustrating that the tools taken from my trunk to remove my tires were not put back in their place. They were just thrown in the back and could have easily been lost or misplaced. I was also disgusted that my steering wheel, interior door handle, and shifter knob were sticky and filthy. The estimated time to complete my tire change was 1.5 hours but it wasn't ready for 3+ hours. I'm not normally one to complain, but thought I should share. Also, my boyfriend had the exact same experience a few weeks ago and he also asked for an oil change that they never got to even though they had his car the entire day.

Received discount flyers in the mail but sales said there were no discounts available for my purchase of a new set of tires

There was an advertised half off coupon that could have been applied, but they charged me double. If there are active coupons / discounts they should offer it to the customer.

The total price was never discussed. When called to pick up my car with new tires 4 hours later, I asked about the $32.00 Nitrogen charge, and was told that it's standard service now. I would prefer air for no charge next time. I got home and reviewed the receipt, and noticed a $26.00 charge for a tire disposal fee, which isn't relevant to me as I kept the old tires. Lastly, a charge for $142.80 was assessed for a tire protection plan which was never discussed. The extra charges totaled $200.80. I understand the store is very busy this time of year with winter tire changeouts, and before being asked for a quick signature, the time should be spent going over the invoice with the customer. These items definitely would have been discussed at the time. Honestly, this doesn't instill future trust in Big O as a long time customer. Anything else I should know about? Was the work done correctly?

When nearly home I checked the dashboard tire pressure. Although they should all have been 35 lbs, one in front was 38, another in back was 38, one was 40 and the other 44. With not tire gauge, it took me a while to keep letting a little out until I got them all even at 35. Pressure in tires that were just put on seems pretty basic.

Have employees that don’t forget to complete tasks when my pregnant wife and our son are waiting 3.5 hours for a scheduled tire installation. Then they forgot to do an alignment and made her wait in line to complete that. Also they never asked for a phone number to contact her when they were done with our car.

I have been to this Big O operation many times with many vehicles to fit tires or do a seasonal change. Not one time has the tire pressure been correct. I have even asked specifically for a certain pressure and it still doesn’t happen. Today I had 4 wildly different pressures in my tires. Yesterday, on my other car the tires called for 38 psi and they varied from a low of 42 to a high of 46 upon pick up. I don’t understand how this consistently gets ignored or treated so loosley. Come in, for $140 they can’t put the proper air in tires??

I came in to get my front suspension checked. I explained exactly what I was experiencing and where. When I picked up my car, they said everything was perfect and there were no issues. They did a test drive and noticed nothing, but there is a very loud squeaking if you drive it. I had to go to another person to get it checked because I knew something was wrong. They found multiple issues that were relatively obvious (sway bar link and outer tie rod end needing to be replaced). I'm very upset that they didn't identify these issues when I told them exactly where to look. I'm worried other people getting their suspension checked are being told it's ok when it's not, having not really done a thorough inspection.
