Fun trip! Lots of animals I have not seen before. Most of them seemed tired, but that was probably due to the fact that it was a hot day. Great time!

We had a great day. Everything was clean and beautifully shady on a sunny day. The new big cat area is very nice. I was surprised in the reduction of the animals on display. No big cats except cheetah, lions and tigers, no elephants, no chimpanzees. The rare mammal exhibit is half empty. The African Plains had one stork and one gazelle. The new children's area looked like a lot of fun but it takes up a very large area. Over all, the zoo looks lovely and the new exhibits are much nicer for the animals but I do miss the diversity the zoo used to have.
