Front desk employee was very good, clearly explained all issues. Mechanic repeatedly had issues, everything he touched, he broke. After 4 hours (quoted 90 minutes) I left after hearing that my tie rods were seized up and new ones would be required. I went to Firestone the next day and the service was performed in 40 minutes with no issues.

During my previous visit I was incorrectly charged, and given a card for a free oil change instead of a refund. I accepted the card since the value of a full-synthetic change was equal to the difference. When I presented the card this time, the manager claimed that former employees stole cards and so they couldn't honor my card, but would offer 50% of the card's value instead. When I was ready to take my car somewhere else Chris convinced the manager to accept the card. Aside from the fact that employee theft should have no impact on a discount which was owed to me, the entire situation was uncomfortable. I now live 1.5 hrs away and planned on continuing to visit this location out of loyalty but not after this experience, especially since the employee who helped me (Chris) will be leaving the location soon.

Tires not inflated to the same pressure. All tires were at different pressures. Tire pressure was 10lb difference between tires. Valve stem caps missing on 2 of 5 tires. Lock on backup camera cover (Jeep Rubicon) was broken when I got my Jeep back.

Ask the client where they want the tires put. And have bags available to protect from road dirt in the vehicle when actually loaded. I sell surgical products and they put the tires right on top of tens of thousands of dollars of my equipment. I had to do a special cleaning of some to be able to use again and others had to be thrown away to the tune of $2000.

All customers should be explained the work to be done and how much it's going to cost before starting the job. If additional needed services or better quality products exist, the customer should be informed with a cost estimate before performing what is being recommended. The store should not be performing additional services or upgrading to higher cost products without the customer's consent. If the store makes the mistake of performing an unauthorized service or upgrading without asking the customer, those in charge (eg. store manager) should apologize and not charge the customer for the unauthorized work. And definitely, the should NOT hold the customer's vehicle hostage if the customer refuses to pay for the additional costs. My vehicle was held for two days by store manager "Dan" until he finally had one of his employees call me and tell me that my vehicle was ready for pick up. When I asked to speak with the store manager, he said that he now agreed to only charge for what the coupon said plus tax. Two days later!!! (there is more to the story, but I'm out of space).

Quoted certain price for oil change and tire rotation. Initial figure was $129. My bill was $188. Unacceptable. Unprofessional. In ethical.

I purchased the tires a year ago with the rotation, balance and front end alignment. Twice the shop has been unable to perform an alignment due to not having the proper wheel straps. Wheel balance is not being completed when rotated. The shop told me it was completed. When driving home the front end shook badly. I inspected the tire and the old weights remained and no new balance occurred. I had to return the next day and wait 1 1/2 hours for them to properly balance the wheel. The front clerk lied to me and said the weight fell off and that's the reason for the out of balance situation. I saw the old weights on the tire before he said the new ones fell off. Please correct this poor craftsmanship and unethical service.

Make sure your techs know what they are doing after 3 attempts to put new tire pressure sensors in my vehicle I took it to a different location. Also when I went up there one morning they opened at 7am but the manager didn’t show up till 7:40am

It is very rare for me to give a business a negative rating, but the Big O Tires location at 3575 Hartsel Dr., near Lexington and Woodmen in Colorado Springs absolutely deserves one. The lowest score I can give is a “1”, but would give a “0”, if I could. I do the majority of my own automotive work. For the past 10+ years I have exclusively used a Big O at a different location for tire purchases, wheel balancing/rotation and air conditioner work. I wanted my wheels balanced and rotated, but was nowhere near the Big O I usually use, so stopped at the 3575 Hartsel Drive location and was greeted by salesman, Benjamin. The tires on my vehicle are Big O Brand and come with free lifetime balance and rotation. I told Benjamin that I was on a tight schedule and asked how long it would take to get the job done. He told me 45 minutes, so I decided to have the work done and asked that the mechanic balance all four wheels, rather than just the usual two front wheels. Benjamin replied that it would take longer than 45 minutes, as they generally didn’t balance tires unless specifically asked to do so. That is not the usual Big O standard, but I told him that the extra few minutes would
