I've looked around and realized that the bed base was on sale elsewhere. The price won't be matched because it's a sale. Also as it was soon to be offline I would have expected it to be on sale.

Bought an ex-display chair bed just on a whim but went into shop looking for a single ottoman divan for my daughter but only suitable thing was far too expensive,

Our only reservation was that the bed was not available to look at in the Cribbs Causeway store and the next available store was Brislington. As it was late we could not go to Brislington and the same was over that evening. Other than that our experience was very satisfactory overall.

Couldn't have a different divan base with the mattress we wanted but not a major problem

I only went to the store to order 2 new mattresses, the same make as a mattress that we had bought recently. When I arrived there was no-one to ask as the only two people in the store that I could see were tied up with other customers - this is obviously good for them but meant that I had to wait - not a problem - but meant that I didn't give the 'highly satisfied' grade.

Imo Highly Satisfied would be extraordinary. To be honest the things you're asking really are the minimum a customer should expect from any retailer, aren't they? We entered the store, were made to feel welcome, had our questions answered, bought and paid for our goods. What do you want, a medal? The delivery date was not unduly delayed and the arrangements for making the appointment were dealt with efficiently, but again isn't this to be expected? The offer of tea or coffee was a welcome touch and we have absolutely no complaints whatsoever about the staff whatsoever. We are return customers, having bought our previous bed at Dreams in 2005. That was a Millbrook, unfortunately you no longer supply them but we are satisfied with the replacement we've chosen. Let's hope it lasts as long :)
