Dreams - Elgin

I was highly satisfied with my visit to the Elgin Dreams store. The assistance I received from the store salesman colleague James was exceptional. His product knowledge was very good and he gave me and my husband excellent advice on making the bed purchase that I wanted. I feel I have bought the right product and I am very happy with the quality of my bed. All in all I have had a very pleasant experience from shopping in Dreams and would not hesitate to recommend this store to any family or friends.

We were very pleased with the expertise of John, your sales assistant, who gave us the appropriate advice and guidance. As it is nearly 10 years since we last purchased a bed we didn't really know too much about the construction and materials involved. John was a mine of information.

I was given assistance fairly quickly after entering the store. The differences between the mattresses were explained in simple easy to understand terms. I was given advice re the sale items and when the prices would change but at the same time did not feel pressured into buying a bed. I was given days when deliveries would be available in my area. When I returned to purchase the bed I was asked was there anything else I required but again not pressured into anything. I was offered various dates for delivery to suit me and informed as to how the delivery system will work. I was surprised that my purchase is going to be available so quickly.

We came in having been to the Benson's close by and were happily surprised at the lower costs and more ready availability of the product, I hope the quality lives up to our expectations and that these products weren't more affordable because they're not as good but only time will tell. The assistants in the shop were very friendly, one took my young son to watch spongebob on one of the TV beds which he loved, he's nearly 3 so he can be a bit disruptive whilst shopping. My son rather disgruntled one of the staff members by climbing on her beautifully made bed but the rest of the staff took his 'testing' the beds really well. I can't wait for our new mattress to arrive we've chosen one with gel in which I'd never heard of before but it's firm yet supportive, all the beds were easily identifiable as to what they were made of so once we knew what we wanted it was easy to compare them. We're really happy with the choice we made and the forces discount just made it even better, thanks.

The member of staff who dealt with me showed excellent customer service, which is sadly something in decline these days. The item I was wanting was not available but this staff member did not leave it there. He spent some time checking when this item would be available again, when I could have it delivered to my house and he was very helpful throughout. It was a great experience and I got my item, which may not have been the case had the staff member said it was not available and just left it there. So, all round this was a great experience and I got exactly what I was wanting, so a happy customer.

Great service and advice

I was in the store in Elgin two days in a row. My first visit was to gauge the range and price of what I was looking for. I was served by a lovely girl named Sarah and a lovely man called John. Both were very knowledgeable about the product they were selling and were able to answer all if my queries. The next day I returned planning to make a purchase. I was pleased to be served again by John who advised me fully on mattress type and gave me full confidence in my choice. He then passed me on to Sarah to complete my purchase as he was in the process of training a new staff member. Sarah remembered me from the previous day and remembered every detail of our conversation. She talked me through my purchase of a bed frame and matters while expertly up-selling without being pushy. I completed my sale with my preferred delivery date and Sarah walking me to my car, carrying the duvet, pillows and mattresses protector for me. After putting them in my car she shook my hand thanking me for choosing them for my purchase. She was a delight to buy from and is an asset to the store and a credit to the Dreams training.

Never had item in stock. Order was placed and wrong stock was sent. Original order was also lost and staff member was not available.This was soon recitified by another member of staff who went over and above his remit and item was aquired from another store nearby.
