Courtyard Washington Embassy Row

The suite has a desk in bedroom but no chair??? (There is a chair on living area). Staff can't be bothered to keep water station full. This hotel is so cheap there is no coffee/hot water service in lobby. Ridiculous. Most Courtyards I've visited provide a little package of paper plates for microwave but not this one. Asked for extra towels but request ignored. Described a maintenance issue in room, staff was dismissive. I insisted that maintenance should look at it. Staff claimed a service visit would happen next day. I was in the room next day until 4pm and no visit happened. Pool area out of towels. Called to request more, staff cheerfully said sure but failed to do so. Other guests in pool area upset about no towels and were discussing that they didn't like that no continental breakfast available. On the plus side, very clean location.
