Stopped here on a road trip, perfect for what we wanted

I was driving down the street and decided I was thirsty and so I stopped at the first place I came across. The prices were reasonable and they had what I wanted.

I came with some scratch tickets to cash in the girl behind the counter looked mildly annoyed and said she did not know if I could still redeem them. I told her that the machine is on until 1am. So she take my tickets and starts scratching them looking for the 4 digit code I had already scratched off. She didn't ask me if I wanted more tickets she just handed me the cash from the winnings. I asked for 3 more tickets she found one no problem. Asked the number for the other one and then I had to tell her again that I wanted a third. She seemed unhappy being there or waiting on anyone.

It was the middle of the night and I was on my way to the hospital to visit my boyfriend when he asked me to pick up chocolate for him. This was the first store I saw. It was clean and the cashier was friendly.
