The cashier was very kind and polite. The manager was extremely rude and made him step off of the register because he struck up a conversation with me. I thought that this was extremely unprofessional. I am a supervisor myself as a career and this type of unprofessionalism really reflects back on 7-Eleven as a company as a whole. Your lowest paid workers are the backbone of the company and the manager who was working this morning treated his friendly cashier, who made a positive impact on my experience at the store, made me never want to return to this 7-Eleven. It is demeaning for a manager to reprimand his employees in front of 10+ customers, as he did this morning. If anything, a private discussion should have taken place after the crowd of people had left the store. Personally, I admire this young man for downplaying the situation in the way that he did. I for one would have been mortified if my supervisor embarrassed me in this manner, especially if I was being too friendly to the customers. If at all possible, I would appreciate a response to this complaint, as this should have never happened, because the employee did absolutely nothing wrong. If anything, he was being polite wh

The employee on shift had about 5 of his friends hanging out in the store and did not take care of us at first.
