California Hotel

clean and friendly staff

Was visiting Vegas for my Grammy's 90th birthday. She usually stays at Fremont, but recently started staying at the Cal, so all the family stayed there too. I love this hotel. It gets me nostalgic for Hawaii. Especially this weekend when UH was playing UNLV and all the Hawaii people were there. So awesome. Plus they have Shave Ice at Lapperts upstairs! Delicious. And played Craps for the first time this visit and the employees at the table were super helpful explaining everything. If you want to do Vegas without the crazies, and on a budget, this is the place!

Good roomy rooms with comfy beds and roomy bathrooms and great tasting restaurants.

I love the Cal. It's always my go to for gambling and rooming.
