On a trip for my bday! We love the pepper mill!! Inexpensive price and all the bells and whistles!

Islands Buffet at the Peppermill always pleases! Chef Dave is often seen working with his great crew in the serving line so diners will get their food more quickly. Also, he - along with Tim the manager - chats with customers to get their input on the food & service. We go to Islands regularly & each time the menu varies slightly: e.g., instead of walnut fried shrimp, beer batter shrimp is offered. Whether u prefer prime rib well done or blood rare or anywhere in between, Robert at the carving station has it or will immediately get it from the ovens. If u want a slab grilled for a steak sandwich, he will make that up special for u, too! Just ask! The sauces r varied & delicious! Do not miss the dim sum sauce: totally different & unexpectedly rich! If u like American, Mexican, Asian, Italian or vegetarian, the food is always freshly prepared & 1st rate! Be sure to save room for dessert because Chef Dave & the bakers bake fresh everything! Plus they whip up some variations on Red Velvet & other classics that are fabulous! Joric & the busboy crew, as well as Claudia & the other. servers - are perfect: they are ever-present but not intrusive! All said, if u r in Reno, do not miss dining at Islands Buffet!
